Large Serving Bowl

A large bowl. Could be used as a serving bowl for vegetables or salad or a generous portion of pasta. The glazing is inspired by the beaches of the Gower Peninsular in South Wales where I was brought up. The mix of colours  - blues, whites, greens, grey and lavender - are all from what I have seen along the shore. I've included a scattering of white "lava" glaze on the outside. The bowl is made from stoneware clay, thrown and trimmed on the wheel. It is fired to 1240 degrees and is both food safe and fine to go into the dishwasher.
