How it works:

My studio and kiln is in London, SW11. I offer a basic firing service for bisque, earthenware, stoneware and porcelain. I have a  Nabertherm 100 litre electric kiln. Size wise it is 53cms deep and 46cms across. The price for a full load £50 or a half load £30.

How it works: 

1. E mail me using the CONTACT form.
2. We make an appointment for you to come and load the kiln with your pieces. 
3. Payment on the day. We can load the kiln together.  Please check temperature requirements in advance. If you are uncertain about this, we can find out which temperature will give the best results.
4. I'll contact you when your pieces are ready for collection.

A couple of things to bear in mind:

• I cannot be responsible for pots which come out damaged, cracked, pin holed etc. These are usually making issues.
• If your pot has glaze on the base or has an inadequate glaze clearance, this will damage the kiln shelf. I am happy to advise on this when we load the kiln, and may ask you to clean up pots that cause me concern.
• If you are using a runny glaze or combination of glazes, please be mindful of the kiln. I will charge for damaged kiln shelves.
