Large Platter

A platter for cheese or dessert or maybe "just "a fruit bowl? 

The glazing is inspired by the beaches of Gower in South Wales where I grew up and still visit. The blues of the sky and sea on a sunny day. The sand and the multitude of greens that make up the mix of seaweeds. The bowl was thrown and trimmed on the wheel and trimmed. Fired to 1240 degrees. Food safe and fine to go in the dishwasher.
