Large Bowl

This a quite a large bowl. Perfect for a nice big summer salad. The glazes are inspired by the beaches of the Gower peninsular in South Wales where I grew up. Lots of different blues of the sky and sea, the grey of the rocks and the multitude of greens of the seaweed and rock plants. The bowl was thrown and trimmed on the wheel. It is made of stoneware clay and fired to 1240 degrees. It is foodsafe and can go in the dishwasher.
